James L. Helsel, Jr. CCIM, CPM, SIOR, CRB, CRE, FRICS, AHWD, GRI
James (Jim) Helsel has been in the real estate profession since 1975. He affiliated with Helsel Inc. after graduating from Lycoming College in 1975 with a Bachelor of Art degree in Business Administration. His primary focus has been commercial/industrial sales, leasing and property management as well as real estate investment analysis with counseling as an adjunct to his efforts. Jim is a past president of the Greater Harrisburg Association of Realtors®, the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors® and was Treasurer of the National Association of Realtors® from 2008 to 2010. He was awarded (twice) the Certified Property Manager of the Year award by the Delaware Valley Chapter of IREM. In 2018 he was President of the Delaware Valley Chapter and has served on the Executive Committee and Governing Council of IREM National. He currently serves as IREM's Region 2 Vice President at the National level from 2019- 2020. He also serves as the 2020 President of the Real Estate Business Institute (REBI), an Affiliate of the National Association of Realtors with membership exceeding 37,000.
Jim was named Realtor® of the Year by the Greater Harrisburg (1985) and Pennsylvania (2001) Association of Realtors® and received the Distinguished Service Award (DSA) from these two groups as well as from the National Association of Realtors. Jim has taught thousands of Realtors® across Pennsylvania courses leading to their GRI designation. He co-authors Modern Real Estate Practice in Pennsylvania – the most used book for pre-licensing courses in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Jim is active in his community, serving as Chairman of the Susquehanna Area Regional Airport Authority Board (SARAA) from 2018 through 2023, as a Trustee of the Cornwall Manor Foundation Trust, as a member of the Government Affairs Committee of the Harrisburg Area Regional Chamber of Commerce, and has served the United Way of the Capital Region.

Ray Rizzilli earned his real estate license in 1998. After several years of working in the real estate industry he took a hiatus and turned to other interests for a number of years. He recently returned to the real estate profession, bringing with him extensive knowledge in residential sales, foreclosures and land acquisition. Angel Corbin has been involved in commercial and industrial real property appraising since 1992. She is a PA General Certified Appraiser (GA-001538-L). Angel went to the University of Maryland, College Park. She limits her appraisal efforts to non-residential real property and is often called upon to testify at assessment appeal hearings

Marc Mgee comes to Helsel, Inc. with nearly 20 years of property management experience. Marc earned his CPA degree in New Jersey and handles all of our accounting functions through Appfolio and Quickbooks.
Ricci-Lea Steele
Ms. Steele is the voice behind the telephone and is our Relationship Manager with our tenants. Ricci-Lea comes from South Africa so she has an accent that everyone loves and always finds a way to solve the problem brought to her.
Shannon Hooker
If there is a maintenance issue Shannon has probably already seen it, fixed it or knows how to take care of the problem. With over 30 years of maintenance experience we find Shannon to typically be "ahead of the game" with continuing preventative maintenance and "day to day" problems.

Tanya Thomas received her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in 1984. She is involved in all aspects of the company's bookkeeping. Tanya worked for the Department of Labor & Industry in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and understands the need for proper accounting that relates to company records, tax payments, property management and general bookkeeping.
